Although I loved the handiwork of HGTV Dream Home veteran interior designer, Linda Woodrum, I'm looking forward to see what Monica Pedersen brings to the party. As all of you HGTV addicts are most certainly aware, Monica is one of the hosts of HGTV's Designed to Sell home staging real estate series. She's the lead designer on the TV series design crew based in Chicago.
According to the short bio on the HGTV website, "designer Monica Pedersen has lived most of her life in the world of home repair and remodeling. As a young girl, this self-taught designer spent her spare time helping her parents rehab houses. She absorbed all of her father's handyman skills as well as her mother's talents with a sewing machine. When she wasn't framing out a room or hanging drywall, Pedersen was traveling the world as a top model and successful commercial actress. Her passion and history of designing on a budget makes her a perfect addition to the HGTV family."
