It is clear to us that the shelves are a type of furniture that we must always keep in mind, today there are models of every kind and color that can adapt to your home and decorating style, but also provide valuable storage space.
But the practical and advantageous to them is not all you need to consider; the shelves are also perfect for large and separate environments create different zones in the same room giving a feeling of more space and checking the activity of the area.

In principle, if you have small kids, it is important to instill since there is a little playing time and a task. A shelf, if albeit low, it helps to separate the bed area and give a sense of privacy to the desktop.

If you have a large hall, surely many activities are performed simultaneously. Finished with Antique Furniture Wax

The wax finishes are beautiful hardwood for furniture, veneers and marquetry. It is not difficult, but it is important to know the technique to extract the full advantage.
The first is done with the material: furniture wax, steel fluff, cotton cloth or good quality flat brush, shoe brush and half clean.

First, if the furniture was waxed and have to clean it well, you can use a commercial dewaxing.

After cleaning the wood, apply the new wax, you can do it with a clean cotton cloth, non-shedding hair or a brush. Extend it well, without going over the amount.

Let it dry for one hour to wax polishes, rubbing the surface with the shoe brush wrapped in average. Then another coat of wax gives and let dry again, this time for twenty-four hours.

You will see the high gloss wood acquires with this treatment. The best waxes are colorless or yellow, antique type. And remember that every time you want to re-wax the furniture, you should clean it first so you do not build up layers of old wax.

Office in a Closet

An ideal solution for those who do not have too much space, the office which hidden in the closet. The space has been used with full efficiency without losing sight of the aesthetic.
First and foremost is to make sure that the electrical current and the internet (if you have wireless) can be carried to the closet. In this case we have made a small hole with a drill on the closet wall to pass cables.

First empty the closet and remove the original rack, maybe some can be reused. Check the dimensions of all elements and equipment that you should include, to not surprises if it do not fit.

The shelves should be of hardwood or plywood 3/4". Punch holes in the corner of the shelves that you must pass the cables. Cut strips of wood 1 and 1/4" to be the supports of the shelves and will be placed at the sides and back of each shelf. Maybe you should make some adjustments because the spaces are not always perfectly straight.

Paint the inside of the closet and supports the same color. Paint the shelves with paint gloss (will be smooth and easy to clean) or mate (have a less shiny and rough finish).
When the paint inside the cabinet is completely dry it is time to mount the brackets. Mark with a pencil the exact spot. Use a level to make sure they are well positioned as horizontal.

Secure them to the wall with a drill, place the shelves and secure them to the studs with screws. Then you can paint the screws with a small brush with the shelves paint to have a perfect finish.

4- Buy ergonomic equipment: Your equipment and accessories are the tools of your company. And with them, spend many hours a week. For this reason, it is a good idea to buy ergonomic keyboards, mouse and monitor comfortable anti-glare, to prevent diseases such as eyestrain, stress disorders and back pain.

5- A good desk lamp or good lighting: It is best to place the light behind the monitor to avoid glare.

6- Arte: You do not need a Picasso to brighten the walls of the office. Whatever inspirational art for you, be good to decorate the office space. It should be a reminder of who you are and where you're going.
