Introducing New Colections Home Interior Design

Last week I was offered a new home - the equivalent of the flat I have now but on the ground floor and with the outside space we currently crave. Ultimately after a long 12 hour think I decided that we didn't have enough social links in the area to feel secure and the kitchen/bathroom area was a cupboard with no room for a fridge! So, the search continues. When we looked around there were untreated floorboards throughout and it got me thinking...what's my ideal flooring solution? Yes, you've guessed it, white painted floorboards!

2012 - one of my resolutions was to cook and bake more. I have very little natural domestic leanings so everything I do in the kitchen is a real effort, but with time I can learn to enjoy myself in the kitchen. Maybe it's time to redecorate like this?!

Ooh la la! More french images to enjoy - I've posted my fondness for the shabby french look many times but here are some new amazing ones. 

Metaphorically I feel like I am always climbing stairs - stairs are on my mind today. This continental entrance above makes me feel like trying out some foreign steps. I hope you like these inspiring interior and exterior images!

We all need a creative and relaxing environment from which to work and play. I've been rounding up some great inspiration and found some fantastic space ideas for 2012! 

Particularly LOVE the above idea with the dresses at the window - using fashion as home decor!

Another favourite - just the kind of organisation I need in my own bedroom!

Everyone has an idea of what their dream home would look like. Mine would need to be Georgian with big windows and wooden shutters. Lots of light and polished floorboards!

Some kind of wall to wall library would be nice - I am a bit of a bookworm!

 And a wardrobe "room" might be a great idea!

A free standing roll top bath in a bathroom that includes a fireplace is definately on the list...

A big, white sleigh bed? Don't mind if I do!

Somewhere light to host dinner parties and late night coffees...yes!

2012 - brings new images to I Heart Shabby Chic and new inspirations. Here are some of the rustic and vintage style images I found over the holiday period. My image database is growing with new stuff, can't wait to post the finds!
